Easthampton Savings Bank took the lead in the American Division finals with a 4-3 win over Peoples Bank on Sunday.
Johnny Gegetskas pitched 6 2/3 innings for Easthampton to pick up the win, allowing eight hits, three walks, and three earned runs while striking out three.
Craig Lacey relieved Gegetskas and pitched 1/3 inning for the save. Chris Sullivan had two hits and an RBI.
Danny Gaines took the loss for Peoples, pitching five innings of 4-run ball (three earned), walking three and striking out two. D.J. LaValley pitched well in relief, tossing two scoreless innings and striking out two.
Ted Lerud (two hits, two RBI) and Alex Lafayette (two hits) led the offense for Peoples.
