The Springfield Indians defeated Yankee Sheet Metal 8-7 on Thursday.
LJ Denette earned the win in relief, pitching 3 2/3 innings and allowing only an earned run while striking out three.
The Indians scored four runs in the fifth in the winning effort. Tom Burzynski went 2-4 with a double and a triple. Zach Culver came up with a huge 2-run single to cap off the rally in the 5th.
