Peoples Bank rallied for a walk-off 5-4 win over St. Joseph’s on Friday.
Seth Allen had the game winning 2-run hit for Peoples, giving reliever DJ LaValley the win after three innings of work.
Tom Bouvier was 3-4, Jon Ferry 2-3 and an RBI, Pete Hogan had an RBI double, and Sam Allen was 2-3 with an RBI in the win. Starter Tom Weldon went four innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits and striking out six.
St. Joseph’s starter Steve Lagasse pitched 6 1/3, allowing all five runs (earned) on 11 hits and striking out four. Greg Vouros, Brian Hayes, and Dave Gwozdz had two hits each for St. Joseph’s.
