The East Longmeadow Navigators picked up a 3-2 win over the Holyoke Astros on Friday.
John Carmel pitched a complete game, giving up 2 earned with 4 Ks for the win.
Holyoke jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on hits by Jorge Sanabria and Adam Verville in the 3rd.
Carmel settled in and retired the Astros in order in the 4th, 5th, and 6th before surrendering a walk to Brendan Murphy in the 7th. He then picked Murphy off trying to steal second.
In the 6th, Adam Piluchowski reached on an error and advanced to second on the throw. Ryan Beturne then ripped his second hit of the game to score Piluchowski for the winning run.
