Peoples Bank captured the 2019 American Division championship with an 8-0 victory over Easthampton Savings Bank on Tuesday at McKenzie Stadium.
Tom Weldon pitched a complete game gem for Peoples, allowing only four hits and striking out two to earn the victory.
Tom Bouvier and Alex Lafayette had two hits apiece. Kyle Platner also had two hits and three huge RBI to power Peoples Bank and close out the championships.
Ted Lerud, Sam Allen, and Pete Hogan had RBI hits for Peoples.
